Steve Cavit's Climb for Clean Air 2003 PledgePage
Last year I pledged to raise $350 and ride 180 miles in the Texas heat for the National MS Society. My family, friends and co-workers donated almost $2,000. I went to Texas, rented a bike and pedaled 180 miles through the countryside in springtime Texas. It was such a great experience that I decided to up the ante to an insane level this year.
I have joined the American Lung Association of Washington’s Climb for Clean Air as a member of the climbing team. My goals are to raise $4,000 for the Lung Association and summit Mt. Rainier on July 18, 2003.
At 7:30 am on July 18, 2003 my goals were met. I reached the summit of Mt Rainier and my sponsors donated over $4500 to the Lung Association.
